Code Scrambling Function,
for even greater safety and comfort
Most older locking systems require the manual scrambling of the code wheels, which is especially easy to forget when the locker door is open. This allows individuals standing nearby to see the code. Additionally, if users who have scrambled the code after opening the door need to set it again in order to close the door, this can also be very uncomfortable for them.
With the 1401 the set code is immediately scrambled as the number wheels turn automatically to 0-0-0-0 as a result of the opening rotation. The lock can be closed again without re-entering the code and is turned back until it clicks audibly and noticeably.
The programmed code is of course maintained.
